communication will empower our contractors to produce the best possible
performance, benefiting themselves and our customers. We use different
means of communication including Internet dispatch, E-mails, Cell phones
and voice mail.
"HOT" E-Mailing System
With Horizon Transport's "HOT" e-mailing service, each contractor will receive
immediate updates on special load situations, show schedules and much more.
Our email is designed to allow the contractors to receive information
through their computers in an effort to keep everyone completely up-to-date
on current events and information critical to success.
For example, if a customer calls in and states that they would like us to
relocate 100 vehicles from Mesa, AZ to Boston, MA in 2 weeks we would book
the orders, then immediately send an email to the fleet, alerting each
recipient to new loads. This immediate release of information allows our
contractors to plan and position themselves for the best opportunities.
This is one small example of the effectiveness of email communication.
There is no better information than immediate information!
